Newsletter

To keep you informed of any developments concerning the results of “I Am, I’ll Be”, we have created two newsletters which, we hope, will interest all family members, younger and older ones alike.

We have chosen the names of the bulletins so that they reflect their missions: The Investigator, which is the fruit of the questions and comments we receive from our young participants: we “investigate” for them. Echoes of the QLSCD is designed for parents, and aims at keeping you abreast of any findings of “I Am, I’ll Be” which, all too often, remain in the shadow of the media. We also try to include information you will find useful in each bulletin.

Why the QLSCD?

QLSCD is the acronym for Québec Longitudinal Study of Child Development in Québec. This is the “scientific” name of the study and the name specialists, reseachers and government employees know it by. Several major publications refer to the QLSCD and not to “I Am, I’ll Be” and this may, unfortunately, be a factor in why it is felt that the study is not talked about.
